Casey Cody Johnson
From his musical background and undeniable style, Casey is a very engaging individual. He first hit the spotlight as a contestant on the 11th season of Simon Cowell’s X Factor. For his crowd pleasing audition he sang an incredible rendition of Olly Murs track ,‘Please don’t let me go’, this brought the house down. He continued to outperform his rivals, reaching week eight, which culminated in him being one of the lead members of the X Factor formed ‘Stereo Kicks’. Simon Cowell alongside Louis Walsh had decided to launch an 8 piece band who went on to gain Top 40 Chart success.
Following on from his year with Stereo Kicks, Casey went on to be heavily featured on E4’s TV ‘Stage School’ which ended when he was invited to join X Factor favourites ‘Union J’,after the departure of George Shelley. This he enjoyed immensely with Casey spending 12 very busy months working with the guys on, recording, tours, TV etc. This came to a natural end as the group decided to go back to a three piece which then led to them eventually disbanding.
Casey met Geordie Shore star, Marnie Simpson when appearing on MTV’s, ‘Single AF Show’, which consists of Celebrities going on a series of dates with different people around the world. It was to be a pivotal meeting leading to their permanent relationship. Casey and Marnie are now married with a young family.
Healthy eating is mega important to Casey and his partner Marnie and he can be often found rustling up a meal for his family alongside undertaking a huge update of their new home in Bedfordshire. He is now also co founder of his own ‘Vegan All Sorts’ sweets.
Following on from the MTV TV, he decided to pursue other opportunities in this exciting new chapter. Casey was invited to film the Ex on The Beach’ which was very well received. The documentary ‘When Kids TV Goes Horribly wrong ‘followed, showing his on screen capabilities.
Casey alongside Marnie featured on the TV series ‘Celeb Help My House Is Haunted’ as there have been interesting discoveries made at their super house that they have been renovating.
Casey and Marnie are still working on their fantastic neo Georgian home ‘The Macey Manor’ alongside enjoying their delightful family.
