Cally Rhodes

Cally Rhodes writes honest, melodic and catchy pop songs about survival, heartbreak and love. She has a natural talent for writing fresh pop songs.
Born in Wales, Cally grew up surrounded by music and was particularly inspired by Kate Bush and Fleetwood Mac. This organic love for music inspired her to play piano from a young age, write music and pursue her passion at the ‘Italia Conti Academy’, London.

After graduating, Cally gained studio experience working as a session singer whilst simultaneously recording her own demos which were played on BBC Introducing and BBC Radio 1. She also uploaded her own unique cover of ‘Touch’ by Little Mix which was discovered by the Girlband and tweeted by them to their audience of Millions.

At present Cally is no stranger to the music streaming world as her 2018 chilled summer single, ‘System‘, hit the Spotify Viral Top 50 Charts in five Countries racking up 3.5 Million Streams on Spotify and 1.5 Million on Youtube.

Cally’s music has gained support from Apple Music, Deezer, Youtube Music and popular Spotify playlists such as Chill Hits and Chilled Pop Hits UK.

As well as gaining amazing online support, Cally was labelled ‘Best Artist of the Year 2018’ by BBC Introducing in Shropshire and has also been ‘BBC Introducing Artist of the Week’ nationally. Her music has been played on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio Wales and has recently been used in the UK hit TV programme BBC’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.

Cally’s press coverage includes Pop Dust, CelebMix, EDM Tunes, Dancing Astronaut, Gig Soup, Gas Mask Magazine, CULTR, The Music Fix, The Sun and Sweety High where she was selected as their Woman Crush Wednesday!

Cally is looking forward to supporting some amazing artists in concert this year.
